SUMMARY I've created demo video with the bug: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RxXezieDaVNh27wWU04lyTlA--BkRCPd/view?usp=sharing In most cases it happens after couple of days of uptime. Restarting kwin solves the problem. The bug affects not only video playback, but all application UI. i.e. on 0:21 I click "add tab" and it appears only after repaint on 0:22. Electron apps can also be affected in some rare cases. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I haven't found any stable way to reproduce this. In mosy cases you just need 1 week of uptime and chrome running all the time.
