Created attachment 127371 [details] Screenshot SUMMARY There are thick black borders around all not maximized windows in plasma wayland session. Looks like they are outside of actual window or decorations. I can click through them. I just tried Wayland for the first time in months and this is the first showstopper I found (among some others). After some testing, I found a way to reproduce it: just set "Oxygen" or some variant of it (like "air-oxygen", the one I use) as Window decoration. Is that your case? If you want to test this and try some other window decoration (like Breeze), take into account that switching window decorations freezes my Wayland session instantly, so don't do it with unsaved work.
Same problem found with recently updated Fedora 34. I am using air-oxygen for the window decoration. 'Window border size' is set to 'Normal', but setting it to 'No Borders' made no difference. Kwin version: kwin-wayland-5.21.4-1.fc34.x86_64 kwin-5.21.4-1.fc34.x86_64
The problem is showing right now as I use my laptop with a docking station and external monitor. However if I use my laptop on my lap (so no docking station obviously), then the black borders do not appear. Very odd.
It looks to me like this has been fixed, reply if not.
