Description Leonardo 2020-04-06 19:38:31 UTC
SUMMARY
Using a second HDMI screen the KDE plasma can't remember the main screen after some actions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect a HDMI screen to the Notebook and set to use both screens to extended.
2. Open Screen configuration manager
3. Clck on HDMI screen image so select it.
4. Check primary/main checkbox.
5. Now the HDMI is working as primary screen and the "notebook screen" as secondary.
6. ...........................
6. Now using the keyboard shortcut(fn) select to use only one screen(any one).
7. Now again with fn shortcut set to use both screens to extended.

OBSERVED RESULT
The primary/main screen is not the HDMI screen previouly configured.
It is like plasma had lost the configuration.

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasma should remember the primary screen always.
One time the HDMI screen is the primary it should be every time we turn on the laptop or connect the screen.
