Description Cornelius Schumacher 2020-04-05 22:13:13 UTC
SUMMARY

When moving messages to another folder or moving them to trash the operation doesn't finish on some emails. The status bar message says "Moving messages..." but it never goes away and the message never gets moved.

KMail still is usable and the move operation can be canceled in the progress window. When quitting KMail the program doesn't really stop, just the window goes away. The process has to be killed to actually finish.

This happens on some mails but not all of them. I can't see a pattern on which mails, though.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select an email
2. Select "Move to Trash" action from menu or via keyboard shortcut
3. See the message and progress for moving the message show up but never go away again

OBSERVED RESULT

Move operation doesn't finish

EXPECTED RESULT

Mail is moved.
