SUMMARY
VLC player stays in tray after closing VlC window with the film. Tray icon doesn't close after clicking and checking exit. New films cannot be opened in vlc after clicking on them. 
VLC only opens after searching vlc in KDE command center and clicking on "Run vlc" below it (opens another window with working vlc and second tray icon).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open .mkv video file with vlc
2. close the vlc window
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Tray icon hangs in tray. Couldn't open new video file with vlc.  

EXPECTED RESULT
Program closes.
