If you set Elisa as default music player, then double click on a mp3 file placed on desktop the whole plasma desktop freezes and it becomes not usable even the mouse is not moving and I should force shutdown by cutting power.
NB : Opening the same mp3 file with Clementine is working fine.

Cannot reproduce with Elisa and an MP3 file on the desktop.

The same bug happens using right mouse click, I tried changing from modesetting driver to intel but the result is the same, you can see my attached video for more info.

I upgraded today to Elisa 20.4.0 and I can confirm the problem is not reproducible anymore.

Really some great work from you, since ditching GNOME and MATE and embracing KDE I don't regret it ;)

Sorry after some reboots the bug is appearing again, I think I should remove Elisa and look for another good alternative.

Can you attach a backtrace of the crash?

I'm on 5.21.2 so there is no way to use old Elisa version to retrieve the backtrace, and from what I tested the bug is no longer present on Plasma 5.21.2.
