Description Simone Gaiarin 2020-04-03 06:45:06 UTC
SUMMARY
It is impossible to set the scaling for a specific display arrangement, because those settings interfere with the scaling of any other display arrangement.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Without any external monitor connected to the laptop:
1. Check "For only this specific display arrangement"
2. Set scaling to 150% and Apply
3. Connect external monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
(Settings are reloaded)
Scaling set to 150% and "For any display arrangement" checked
Rebooting the wrong settings are applied.

EXPECTED RESULT
Scaling set to 100% and "For any display arrangement" checked

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Now with the external monitor connected to the laptop, I try to fix the settings:
4. Set scaling to 100% ("For any display arrangement" is checked)
5. Disconnect external monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
(Settings are reloaded)
Scaling set to 100% and "For only this specific display arrangement" checked

EXPECTED RESULT
Scaling set to 150% and "For only this specific display arrangement" checked
