SUMMARY The investments view shows only the name of the equity or security. No other columns are present STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open Kmymoney 2. click on the Investments icon on the left OBSERVED RESULT Only the name is shown EXPECTED RESULT columns showing number of shares, price and value... SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.104 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: 5.12.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Distribution: Debian bullseye
Right click on the column heading and you will be able to select an additional column to display. Unfortunately, you have to do this for each additional column to display. This has come up before - I wonder if we should actually change this to a wishlist to change the default to display more than just the name (in various views that have this same problem.) (Is there a typo in your Plasma Version number? I don't think 5.104 is valid. I'm on 5.17.5.)
Thanks Jack, When I upgraded to 5.0.8 the columns went away. I went back to another machine with 5.0.3 on the same data and they were still there. I did bring them back. I got the other numbers from the Libraries tab in About KMyMoney. It doesn't show the Plasma Version so I got that number from apt show
No problem. Library versions often differ between upstream and how they get packaged by distributions.
