SUMMARY

Basically https://askubuntu.com/q/482856/858434. I would like to open a PDF file in an existing instance of Okular, *even if* that instance is in a separate workspace. Currently, there is no way of doing this. However, this seems to be standard in other applications (firefox, acrobat reader, etc.)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open okular in workspace W1
2. run `okular --unique file.pdf` in workspace W2 != W1

OBSERVED RESULT
Okular opens a new window in workspace W2. 


EXPECTED RESULT
Okular opens a new tab in
