SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. apt install calligra package from repository
2. open calligra words

OBSERVED RESULT

interface is missing icons and text is displayed oversized and awkwardly, causing most of the interface to be taken up by the menu. even when shrunk down, this still looks awkward (see screenshot)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 19.10 64bit
Kernel: 5.3.0-42-generic
Processor: i7-7700HQ

It looks like you haven't installed a Qt platform plugin that automatically falls back to Oxygen icons. Please ask in a forum of your distribution how to use a Qt platform plugin, such as qt5ct.
