The release of KDE 5.18 introduced the user feedback tool, which indicates that the developers wish to learn more about how people use KDE and what features they like. I thought that it would be a nice addition if on the KDE website there was a special page for suggestions and feature requests, separate from bugs.kde.org, which feels out of place for feature requests. users could submit ideas (like this one) to the dev team and others could vote on which ones they would like to be implemented. It would be a nice way to interact with users to improve KDE for everyone.
https://bugs.kde.org is still the right place for this. :) We read your bug reports and have conversations with users daily on proposed features. The "wishlist" status is adequate, for our purposes at least, to know that a bug report is a feature request. In the end it's just more efficient for everyone to have all the data in once place.
We also have a Brainstorm section on the KDE forums, see https://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?f=83 But it is best to submit patches with your ideas; suggestions hardly get added by someone not interested in them.
