Created attachment 127072 [details] The problematic PDF SUMMARY When opening the attached PDF, which was exported from LibreOffice Writer 6.7.0.3, the embedded video is has the wrong size and position (see attached screenshot). I am also attaching the ODT from which it was exported. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the attached PDF (video.pdf) OBSERVED RESULT Embedded video is shown at the wrong size and position. It is too small, and too much to the left. EXPECTED RESULT The video should be shown positioned and sized as shown in the attached screenshot from LibreOffice Writer. In Okular, one can also see a preview still image: That is the position/size which should be used for the video itself as well. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 18.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.9 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44 Qt Version: 5.9.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION tosky on #okular @ freenode also helped test on Okular 1.9.3, and presumably with much newer Plasma/KF5 than me, and saw the same problem: 22:01 < tosky> estan: I see the same issue with the last current stable (1.9.3 release one month ago; a new one will be released in less than one month) So I'm setting Version of this bug to 1.9.3.

Created attachment 127075 [details] PDF as shown in Okular - Notice the wrong position/size of video
It is conceivable that LibreOffice Writer is positioning the video wrong when exporting the PDF. I don't have access to a PDF reader other than Okular which supports embedded videos, but I can test on a Windows computer with Acrobat Reader when I'm at work tomorrow Monday.
Libreoffice is doing it wrong Adobe Acrobat Reader DC also puts it on the left.
Thanks for checking! I'll file an issue with them.
Reported against LibreOffice here instead: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131673
It is not much relevant here, but for the record, I exported the ODT document to PDF with LibreOffice 6.4.2 and the video is now placed correctly.
Thanks a lot for checking Luigi. Maybe my LO bug can be closed as fixed then. I should have found some newer LO packages to test before filing it.
