SUMMARY When you have files at this format: oihe.zip.001, oihe.zip.002 and so on, ark can not open the file. It says that it is not a zip file while file-roller open and extract it without problems. A single zip file don't give any problems STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a splitted zip file 2. ark shows an error OBSERVED RESULT Error of zip file not being a zip file EXPECTED RESULT ark opens the file without problems and can extract it SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I tried opening multi-volume zip in Ark and it works for me. What Ark plugins are you using? (In Ark settings, you should see various plugins in the "Plugins" tab: Bzip2 plugin, Gzip plugin, Info-zip plugin, etc. Please tell us what plugins have been selected.)

What format do you have in the file name? I have not here my laptop but i Will put the plugins when I have . pD with format I mean if it's xxxx.zip.001 and so on or is it xxx.001.zip or it is not a zip but a 7z(which works well for me) please give the full names of your multiple splitted zip so I can see if it's the same situation.
My filenames are in xxxxx.zip.001, xxxxx.zip.002, etc.

How about disabling "Libzip" and "Unarchiver" plugins and try again?
