SUMMARY After a title clip is duplicated, the "v" (=add to timeline) doesn't work. I have to click on another clip in the project bin, then back to the duplicated title clip, then I can add it to the timeline with the "v" button. Video of the bug: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1P6vNnXEhxu8ni-y9OJhdm5NA7SxuXlXP STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new project, add a title clip. 2. Right click on title clip, then choose duplicate. A copy of the title clip appears in the project bin, and it is selected. 3. Press the "v" button to add it to the timeline. OBSERVED RESULT Kdenlive gives an error, "No clip selected in the project bin." Even after you click again on the duplicated title clip, the "v" button doesn't work. EXPECTED RESULT V button would add the title clip to the timeline. WORKAROUND Click on another clip in the project bin, then click on the duplicated title clip, then the "v" button works again, it adds the clip to the timeline. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Win10 current macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Confirmed. The copied clip seems not on focus for insert into the timeline.
This seems to be fixed in the latest version (at least for linux) can you please try and let us know if you can still reproduce?
Tested it, and now the problem has been solved.
