SUMMARY
this morning I can't do any more any action that requires privileges: can't connect to network (a popup show "not authorized to control network", update software or shutdown/reboot from gui. but if I open konsole i've no problem and I can do anything as usual

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
i don't know how to reproduce

OBSERVED RESULT
can't do anything that requires privileges

EXPECTED RESULT
can do as usual

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: (i'm not at my pc now, I'll send later)
KDE Frameworks Version: (i'm not at my pc now, I'll send later)
Qt Version: (i'm not at my pc now, I'll send later)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
if i login with another user, it works with no issues

I've also tried to remove my home and login with an empty profile, same issue
other users don't seem affected

another strange behaviour: when run chrome, it asks me to unlock kwallet
never happened before

I've formatted and reinstalled kubuntu 20.04, same error
some updates (libpam-systemd?) broken something

Sounds like a kauth configuration or packaging issue with Kubuntu. I would recommend reporting this to them.
