OBSERVED RESULT

Since I updated to 5.18.3 Discover starts automatically during login process and starts searching for updates. While doing this it halts loading plasma so I have only a black screen with a single Discover window. I double checked that it is not listed amongst the automatically started processes in system settings.


EXPECTED RESULT

Discover should check for updates using its daemon (without opening a window) after loading plasma.

Can you check if it's for some weird reason on the Autostart section in system settings?

Yes, that was the first thing to check. It does not show anything in the list.

The weird thing is that after I filed this bug using Discover's report bug button this behaviour changed back to normal. I can not comprehend how this annoyed me for days and suddenly gone.
