If you have a tablet with a pen it may be convenient to add hand written notes and annotations to the your PDFs.

However, the free line tool, which is currently the only way to accomplish it, is not perfect for this case.
For example, whenever you release then pen, e.g. a single letter, this letter becomes it's own annotation and the tool becomes deselected.
Also it is not possible to move several annotations in a group.

It would be much more use- and powerful if such notes could be written like in Xournal, OneNote or Krita. :)

I just found out that the pen writing annotation tool of the presentation mode would already be rather suitable if it could be used in the standard mode.

Though, lines could still be smoothed (averaged) a lot more to make handwriting look nicer.
