SUMMARY The program keeps crashing whenever I try to make a new project or when I open a project. I have Krita 3.1.3. OBSERVED RESULT The program keeps crashing EXPECTED RESULT Obviously, I don't want my program to crash so I can draw. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 8.1 OS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version:
Please try Krita 4.2.9 beta version: https://krita.org/en/item/krita-4-2-9-beta-released/ (it's beta, but tested for two weeks already and seems to be really stable,, more stable than previous release). Krita 3.1.3 is very old and Krita overall changed so much that trying to fix any issue to 3.1.3 is not a good idea. This crash is probably long gone :) But if it still crashes, please reset your configuration: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration (pay close attention to make sure you remove both "kritarc" and "kritadisplayrc").
