I have no more error. I can send mail to a group with success.
Problem still there. In description forget "If you add group in "personal contacts" then no problem." Rarely sometime there is no problem. Mail is sent without any problem.
If in kaddressbook you select a group then in menu "action" you select "send a mail" then there is no problem mail is sent. Using all other ways leads to a fail. Mail is not sent.
Same problem if I create a group with Google Contacts. in kaddressbook : - a new folder is added corresponding to the group - a contact is added corresponding to the group kmail says "not valid address" if you try to use it. the 2 problems are still there kde apps 20.12.1 kde plasma 5.20.5 kde frameworks 5.78.0 qt 5.15.2
> If in kaddressbook you select a group then in menu "action" you select "send a mail" Using all other ways leads to a fail. Mail is not sent. I can confirm that it works with "send a mail" action because KMail fills in all relevant fields with actual addresses derived from the group. However, If I put a group's name in the address field ("Select...) and try to send a mail, it looks like the mail is being sent, but actually it is not. I get a "message sent" notification but the message never arrives. KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
