plasma-discover (5.16.5) using Qt 5.12.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed: In the tray I have a notification that updates are available, I click it, Discover starts to open, then crashes.
If I use the application menu to start Discover, it also starts to open, then crashes.
This has been happening for over a month now. Preventing my system from updating normally.

Would you try running it from a terminal and telling us what output you get?
Comment 3 Christoph Feck 2020-04-14 19:35:11 UTC
If you can provide the information requested in comment 2, please add it. It is very likely that you didn't install NVIDIA drivers correctly.

plasma-discover (5.18.4) using Qt 5.12.8

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Live session. I was testing if everything worked. I opened discover while offline and it opened normally (prompt me about my connection). Later, after I went online, I tried to re-launch it unsucsessfully.

I seem to have this issue intermittently. Discover will work fine for weeks/months, then it will start crashing every time I try to open it. It will fix itself after a week or two.

systemsettings5 (5.16.5) using Qt 5.12.4

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
KDE Discover keeps crashing also, which I have been unable to open the past few days.

The error message says "Failed to create OpenGL context", so comment 8, comment 9, and comment 10 are all duplicates of bug 375913. Please reboot after updating NVIDIA and/or kernel to avoid this crash.
