Description H Aue 2002-04-29 16:38:39 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.3.2 (using KDE 2.2.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.2.2-13 (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18
OS/Compiler notes:

I exported my addressbook on SuSE and Kword to csv-file
Then tried to import in Debian Kmail.
Import does not work. Seems to simply do nothing.
One time it crashed kmail totally.
I could not reproduce it and get the messages sorry.

Same here with Kmail 1.4.3 using KDE 3.0.3 and http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2002-Sep/0067.html As the root, I can generate the addressbook. As user, I can't. One solution suggested for K2.2.2: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2002-Sep/0069.html And a "delete" solution suggested: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2002-Sep/0070.html
