SUMMARY The Windows Management -> KWin Scripts applet offers no UI to uninstall a kwinscript. Merely deactivating it is NOT a satisfactory workaround, because I want to be in control of what is installed, full stop. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install a kwinscript through systemsettings 2. Try figuring out how to uninstall it OBSERVED RESULT It is impossible to figure out how to uninstall it. EXPECTED RESULT It should be obvious how to uninstall it. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 5.5.10-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor Memory: 15,6 GiB
But uninstalling other KNewStuff/GHNS items works?
Uninstalling works, except for the UI issue in BUG 382136. Maybe we should implement a functionality to actually delete an entry. For such usecases we should add functionality to KNS, this way we could avoid issues like BUG 417985.
