The crash is from Window Buttons applet you need to use a version that supports plasma 5.18
Comment 5 Andres 2020-03-13 04:02:29 UTC
the applet has already been updated for 5.18 since February 12 so does this mean i have to open an issue with the applet?
Comment 6 Andres 2020-03-13 04:08:16 UTC
I reported this on the applets GitHub as well https://github.com/psifidotos/applet-window-buttons/issues/90
Comment 7 Andres 2020-03-13 17:38:42 UTC
after talking with the dev of the applet I think the issue lies with latte dock not with the applet as the applet was working on the previous version of latte dock and i was using kde 5.18 then as well

I am the same person, developing both Latte and window applets.

The crash is not from Latte.
And as it appears not from the applet.

this started to come back even though i been using the plasma theme for the window buttons i dont even think this has to do with windows button applet anymore

the crash report should have information in it that could be usefule. Any crash reports reported here do not have enough information.

This was also fixed when I updated to the latest got but I think it might of been something else in my setup that was causing that either way I haven't had that crash since I last reported it
