SUMMARY
The render dialogue file-select window keeps the full old filepath in the selection window (the bottom text box), then assumes this as filename inside a selected folder.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new project
2. Open the Render Dialogue
3. Search a place where to put the output file
4. Open the file dialogue again, see that the full filepath is set in the bottom text box

OBSERVED RESULT
full filepath in the selection window

EXPECTED RESULT
only the file name should consist; Maybe the correct old folder could be selected

I cannot reproduce using the provided steps. What are you using as desktop environment ? Can you check with the official AppImage if you can also reproduce the problem:

Can't reproduce anymore. Maybe an error on my side.
