SUMMARY I installed a fresh copy of Kubuntu with all updates on my brand-new Thinkpad T495 (AMD). Generally, it seems to work good, but when I go into standby and turn on the laptop again on it starts and shows a black screen. There seems to be an error during wake up. It happens also sometimes when I boot. The boot process ends with a black screen. I have no chance to login. (I tested the laptop with Manjaro KDE. There this problem does not exists. So the hardware is fine.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE s. above. Meanwhile after some minor updates I confirm the problem: a) Boot without power supply => black screen even before login dialog b) Boot with power supply and then after login working normally, then after a standby => black screen. I am using Kubutu 20.04. on Thinkpad T495 (AMD Ryzen 3500U CPU with Vega mobile Graphics).
I think this bug is on the wrong "product"
