Created attachment 126664 [details] krita bug info SUMMARY When using Krita 4.2.8 on my laptop with a Wacom tablet, when the cursor moves off to the left of the canvas towards the toolbar then back, the position of the cursor on the page is accurate to the image, but the drawn element (box/line/brush etc.) is offset to the right and down to approximately a third of the screen. When the cursor is moved over to the right hand dockers, the cursor and pen rest, until they move back over the left. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Move the cursor to the left of the screen. The cursor offsets and draws on a different point of the canvas. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Cursor moves to a different position of the canvas to the pointer position EXPECTED RESULT The cursor to be in the same position as the wacom stylus all the timer SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hi, I don't think that this is a bug in Krita; problems like this are always problems with settings going wrong... Can you try to reset Krita's settings (https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration) and the wacom driver settings? Can you try switching between wintab and windows 8 pointer in Krita's settings? Does the tablet tester utility (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/preferences/tablet_settings.html#tablet-tester) show the same problem?

Hi there, Yes it is not a bug within krita, it was a tablet bug. It requires that the settings of the tablet pen be reset and the issue is gone. Thanks for your advice.
