I am using Okular for annotating journal articles as pdf files. My main interaction is 1 select highlighting tool 2 highlighting a text passage 3 continue reading 4 select hightlighting tool 5 highlighting next text passage and so on. Once the highlight tool is selected I would like it to stay selected so I can just easily continue highlighting.

Double-click on the highlighting tool, and it will stay selected.
