Description Geoff King 2020-03-03 21:36:27 UTC
The Filters "menu" on the right side of the window seems out of place to me. Items on the right side are generally metadata related for editing and viewing, not searching.
I think it would be better placed on the left side of the main window where most other searching or filtering is done (Dates, Timeline, Tags, etc.).

Not a bug or issue, I just think a more logical place for this would be on the left.

If you move filter on the left side, you will not able to apply filter on a selected album contents from a left side, as physical album or tags, of labels, of search etc.

Filter is applied on the icon view, it's not a virtual album tree view to select as other side from the left.

It's normal to see this on the right, not on the left.
