SUMMARY Hi, Would it be possible to add a feature about having launchers of only current activity ( like currently ) but also show running apps from other activities ? So for example, if no running app on other activities, the end result would be the same. But if I had for example one app ( dolphin for example ) running on another activity, it would show dolphin also ( even though not a launcher in currenct activity ). Also, it would only show the running app of the other activity, not the other "not running" apps of other activities. Then we could quickly activate the app on the other activity ( it should change to that activity of course ). Thanks ! STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. Not possible... You need plasma libtaskmanager to support it first...
oh :( I was getting started to really like this workflow. the way i have it when I am not using latte-dock, is have the "activity launchers" in kickoff and a panel with taskmanager showing all running apps. so sorry for not knowing/testing if it would be possible in libtaskmanager first! I should give more info, but just as more info, since sooner or later activities/virtual desktops is going to change upstream. I am actually using it this way on Wayland and working ( meaning it shows the launchers of current activity, but also running apps of all activities/virtual desktops ). This is working by just filtering tasks by "current activity" only, and of course only on wayland. The only nitpick i would prefer, would be that other activities launchers when running would be placed on a special place ( most right side or left side ) and not in the middle of the taskmanager area ( where they are positioned if I remove the "currenct activity filter" ). Anyway never mind this, I will wait for what will happen to activities on wayland.
