SUMMARY It would be very convenient if one could use the mouse wheel to scroll while dragging an item in a long list. Placing it near the top or the bottom works though, but it is not very accurate and comfortable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure Toolbars 2. Drag an toolbar item 3. Try to scroll via the mouse wheel OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT List scrolls. Cannot reproduce this. Does it work in Kate? What is the version of Frameworks? Thanks in advance for your answers.

No, neither in Okular nor in Kate. List scrolls when you hover the item over the end of the list.

Yes, that works, but that's not the point of this bug report. ;) The point is, the _mouse wheel_ or middle mouse button + touchpad or touchpad scrolling does not work while dragging.

Yuri, I am coming to the conclusion, that this may need to solved on a lower level. Please see 194231 the comments about the Qt bug reports I added there.
Indeed it does. Libinput or Qt.
