SUMMARY The view of sources listing has descriptions that do not match the actual settings. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Discover 2. Select Settings OBSERVED RESULT A. Example in Discover Settings: Eoan (main) - kubuntu-ppa-backports-quantal B. At upper right, select "Software Sources" link to open actual settings B1. Select/Edit for same example entry shows: http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu/ eoan main EXPECTED RESULT For #A above, should show "Eoan (main) - kubuntu-ppa-backports-eoan" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.18.1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0 Qt Version: 5.12.4 Kernel Version: 5.3.0-40-generic OS type: 64-bit ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Searching Discover for, say, Gwenview returns an old version and not other despite Gwenview is installed with latest version updated through Discover which is what prompted me to check the sources.
Checking Synaptic version is totally correct for latest Gwenview. Additionally, Discover is showing a very long list of updates but, interestingly, Synaptic is showing no available updates. Please advise.
