Description dzp 2020-02-25 15:27:26 UTC
SUMMARY

Since some months I observe the following problem: If I move threads of messages between folders, message attributes get mixed up. I.e. msg 1 was from A to B and msg 2 from B to C. After moving, the message view might display msg 1 from A to C and msg 2 from B to A or that like.

It seems to happen mainly if (pgp-)encrypted mails are involved.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mark some messages
2. move them to another folder

OBSERVED RESULT
As described. Moving the messages a 2nd time mostly fixes the mixup.

EXPECTED RESULT
No more attribute mixups ;-).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: -/-
macOS: -/-
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0
Qt Version: 5.12.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The bug exists at least since July last year. Recreating email accounts yielded no result. Switching akonadi's backend to postgresql the same.

Howdy,

I can also "resolve" the attribute mixup by changing the sort order (i.e. date) in the message list.
