using Konsole,together with Plasma's Clipboard, it is impossible to determine, what entry from the clipboard will be pasted -- but it never is the latest selected one.

I tried all possible combinations of the configuration options, and none fixes this issue.
It has gotten worse over the years, but in the last few weeks it has become basically unusable: I need to either open the Clipboard and select the last entry again, or to use the context menu and "copy" in whatever application I happen to select text.
In any case, the useful feature of just selecting text and pasting via a single mouse click is completely broken.

Have a look at Bug 417590, there may be parallels.

Certainly when I cut and paste in a KVM system (and watching the contents of the clipboards in the host and the guest), there are problems with an "old" host OS and a "new" guest.
