When kinfocenter launches, the left page is too narrow to display the entirety of all the phrases listed in its left pane. The user can drag the left pane wider, but the very next time kinfocenter is launched, it resorts back to a left-pane-width that's more narrow than the phrases it contains. Watch this Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDNWBFx1NKY Keeping in mind, that KDE users can set their font-sizes to be much larger than the 10pt font you get from a fresh installation of Kubuntu. So, the larger the font-size-setting, the more truncation of letters that result from this left pane being too narrow. Therefore, I propose that each time kinfocenter launches, it should take the user's font-size into consideration, and auto-size the left pane to a size that's wide enough to show all phrases in their entirety. 5.19 will use the systemsettings shell to render kinfocenter and as such shouldn't have the issue as settings look ok in the beginning of that video.
