SUMMARY
See the attached screenshot please. Updates for addons from KDE Store are available but "Updates"
icon in systray is not overlapped by a blue dot that indicates available updates.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install addons from KDE Store
2. wait a update to be released
3. 

EXPECTED RESULT
notifier should notify about updates for addons from KDE Store.

Operating System: Arch Linux 
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0

new screenshot taken on neon unstable based on ubuntu 20.04

This issue persists on neon unstable based on ubuntu 20.04.
As we can see in the new attached screenshot, a update from KDE Store is available but update notifier falsely says that my system is updated.

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0

@Dan it wasn't, the notifier needs a separate plugin that starts with the rest of the system and checks at startup.
