Created attachment 130914 [details] new screenshot taken on neon unstable based on ubuntu 20.04 This issue persists on neon unstable based on ubuntu 20.04. As we can see in the new attached screenshot, a update from KDE Store is available but update notifier falsely says that my system is updated. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2
@Dan it wasn't, the notifier needs a separate plugin that starts with the rest of the system and checks at startup.
I'm sorry we weren't able to get back to this yet. Since it's been so long since this was last replied to, and there has been work on Discover in the meantime, this issue may have been fixed. Can you please re-test on your system with Plasma 6.5.5 or later and let us know if you can still reproduce the problem? If you can, please set this report back to REPORTED. Thanks!
