SUMMARY
Using the Freehand Path Tool, the nodes created are Corner Points. Is there a chance that the Tool Option can have a setting to automatically create the nodes to either Corner Point, Smooth Point or Symmetric Point?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a Vector Layer
2. Select the Freehand Path Tool and appropriate Brush
3. Draw a path

All nodes created are Corner Points

EXPECTED RESULT
It works as expected
