SUMMARY If the monitor panel is wider than it needs to be for the project aspect ratio, the image in the monitor is displayed distorted with the wrong shape, and half the width it should be. This bug was introduced in the following commit: 31a4f3c4416817b71d5685cb600f77575927d79c Fix display of vertical videos STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open kdenlive with a new 16:9 aspect ratio project profile. 2. Add a clip to the timeline, so an image of the correct aspect ratio is displayed on the monitor. 3. Increase the width of the monitor until it is wider than the aspect ratio calls for. OBSERVED RESULT The contents of the monitor are squeezed horizontally to half the width they should be. EXPECTED RESULT The monitor should display the correct 16:9 aspect ratio image.
