Description David Edmundson 2020-02-14 11:55:05 UTC
eg. configure battery monitor and switch between general and "keyboard shortcuts"

The title changes directly.
The contents slide in from the right

I don't care which we one do, but the inconsistency looks weird.

Agreed on both counts.
Comment 2 The Feren OS Dev 2020-02-15 23:41:03 UTC
IMHO slide everything is the best way to go eye-candy-wise.

...oh, and also if we mean changing between the pages on a left sidebar, maybe have it so the slide is vertical to signify transitioning from pages that're on the left sidebar.
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2020-02-16 00:08:23 UTC
A vertical slide would indeed make more visual sense given that these pages are presented as a vertical tab bar.
Comment 5 Christoph Feck 2020-02-16 03:42:10 UTC
The best way is to respect when the user has disabled user interface animations.
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2021-03-09 04:59:33 UTC
Looks like this got fixed recently by removing the swipe effect.
