Does this happen with the default plasma theme? Does deleting ~/.cache/plasma* make a difference?
> Does this happen with the default plasma theme? Yes, it happens with Breeze. Actually the Latte Dock screenshot was taken with Breeze and the KRunner one with Breeze Dark. > Does deleting ~/.cache/plasma* make a difference? No, it didn't :( I noticed the transparent box sometimes doesn't happen to KRunner, not sure why though. But so far since I upgraded to 5.18.0, Latte Dock has got this issue all the time. And btw it doesn't happen to regular windowed applications, desktop widgets, etc.
I can confirm this issue is still reproducible after upgrading to 5.18.1.
The issue was resolved mysteriously after a reboot, didn't do anything... Now I've rebooted my machine for several times and it can no longer be reproduced. Guess we can close this ticket for now.
