SUMMARY
Unable to change font settings

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. navigate to the Fonts section
2. change any setting (font or font rendering)
3. try to apply

OBSERVED RESULT
'Apply' button stays grayed out, clicking 'OK' exits the window and changes nothing

EXPECTED RESULT
Fonts and font rendering settings change when I click 'Apply'

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
restarting plasma, logging out, and rebooting have changed nothing
Nvidia proprietaty drivers for graphics on a GTX1080 and using X as a backend
