Description Phoebe 2020-02-12 04:17:35 UTC
Created attachment 125886 [details]
Left: file that's supposed to be normal saturation. Right: normally saturated krita file of the same project.

SUMMARY
When I render an animation, it saves as a very unsaturated file, rather than the normally colored file I animated originally.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Clicked "render animation"
2. Saved the animation to my computer
3. Opened animation from file explorer and it came out less saturated

OBSERVED RESULT
Animation opened as a very unsaturated video.

EXPECTED RESULT
The animation opens as the same satuation as the krita file I worked with.

There is something particular about your file as this does not happen for everyone. What color space are you working with? Also, Make sure you do not have Docker -> Lut with "Use OpenColorIO" activated from what I know, this color preview does not apply to exported files (image or animation)

Please go to "Both" tab in the Render Animation dialog and check options under [...] for PNG image sequence. Make sure "HDR mode" is unchecked. Go to the [...] of the video format you're trying to render as and also make sure HDR is unchecked. Does it help?
