SUMMARY With 1.6, the timestamp of all tweets of the TL ("5 minutes ago") was updated every time the TL was refreshed. In 1.7 this no longer happens, so tweets stay forever with the timestamp of the first time they were retrieved.
This comes from https://cgit.kde.org/choqok.git/commit/?id=ffff0c3e - is it really intentional that the timestamp is now static? In that case it shouldn't be displayed in relative format, because it gets outdated almost immediately.
