SUMMARY
DVD cannot be played after link has been invoked from DVD's own menu.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

$ dragon --play-dvd

However on same computer, using Totem –by Gnome– v. 1:3.34.1 still in Plasma environment, DVD can be played.

I can play dvd with dragon 19.12.2 on Arch Linux.
But sometimes nothing happens after I click on certain entries of a dvd menu.

Operating System: Arch Linux

The GStreamer Phonon backend has been unsupported for years; can you try again with the VLC Phonon backend? Thanks!
