crash information (by The KDE Crash Handler)

SUMMARY
Krita crashes after I click the close button.
The crash occurs every time I close Krita after some changes (even small) made to any document.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krita
2. Create a new document
3. Make some changes
4. Click the close button on the title bar.

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita crashes (even not letting you answer whether you want to save changes).

EXPECTED RESULT
Krita closes properly.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20200128

uname -a:
Linux localhost 5.4.14-1-default #1 SMP Thu Jan 23 08:54:47 UTC 2020 (fc4ea7a) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0
Qt Version: 5.14.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've noticed that Krita does not save your brush configuration after the crash occurred and reverts it to the one used before the crash.
I've added to attachments crash information generated by The KDE Crash Handler (debug symbols installed)

Is this with the 4.2.8 appimage? If not, can you try it to see if that works?

Hello. Thanks for your reply.
Currently, an rpm version from Tumbleweed's repos installed on my machine.
I've downloaded the appimage version, and it works just fine (does not crash)

Looks like you got updated to Qt 5.14, which unfortunately is pretty buggy. You'll also find you'll have other problems, like having trouble saving jpg reference images with the kra file. As an outside chance, OpenSUSE's build flags might trigger a problem in static destructors, for instance, if they enabled ASAN.

I'm going to label this as a downstream problem, and I'll update the bug when 5.14 or 5.15 lands in Neon and see whether it happens there too.
