Please update to 4.2.8 and check again if it crashes and if yes, if it creates a crash log.
I tried 4.2.8.. 4.2.8 does not open Trying to run it .. It doesn't show a warning about crash. Run attempt fails silently. I checked event viewer.. OK . So.so sorry. that report was about previous version. In event viewer there is no crash report about 4.2.8..

I tried to run 4.2.8 in in win7 compatibility mode . Changed compatibility mode in properties of Krita.exe. here is the warning i get. Sounds like Krita needs a function in a GPU driver that isn't implemented in the driver. I'm afraid that there's nothing much we can do. We don't have any Windows 7 system left, and since Microsoft has ended support for Windows 7, we'll also have to end support for Windows 7. I'm really sorry, but there are just two alternatives: you can either upgrade to Windows 10 or Linux, or keep using Krita 3.0.
Thank you for help I just found Radeon RX 570 updated drivers at amd released at 1/27/2020. I will try and see if that works or I will use Krita's old version.
