Thats suspicious, but it should run in High Sierra, however it could mean that somethin gin the build process in no longer compatible with HighSierra :/.

Some questions:
- is this the first krita you use in this mac?
- If not, what version was working properly? (if it is first time, try an older version)

Could you help me see what is happening by launching the application from terminal?
Go to Krita App, right click "See package contents"
Inside the package, navigate to: Contents/MacOS
Right click "krita", open with -> Terminal

It should open a terminal and launch krita from there, showing some insight into what is happening. Copy and paste the text from the terminal here.

I did not read the title, forget the part about not being compatibel with High Sierra. The file must be using something conflicting in macOS. Only with the file We will know

If the content in not on NDA could you attach your file, or paste a link to the file uploaded somewhere else? (drive, dropbox)? (if NDA, send me the link to my e-mail)
