Please start digiKam from a Terminal and run Slideshow again, not in fullscreen. Report the text trace here. Do the same in fullscreen. Details : https://www.digikam.org/contribute/ Q : Which MacOS do you use exactly ? Also, instead 6.4.0, please try with current 7.0.0-beta3 package comming with more than 600 bug fixes. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?f1=cf_versionfixedin&limit=0&list_id=1710222&o1=equals&order=bug_id&product=digikam&v1=7.0.0 Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
This is a Qt bug, there are already various entries in the bug tracker but no real solution yet. Under MacOS a second virtual desktop is opened in fullscreen mode, but Qt does not close it when returns to normal mode, so a dead widget remains. I'm going to try a workaround for MacOS. Maik
