This issue happens in Editor Component => Font & Color Schemas.

If I'm using a color scheme of my choice and then accidentally click on Use KDE Color Scheme button, it will automatically overwrite the color scheme I was using. I tried this on all preinstalled color schemes and they all turned into my default KDE Color Scheme. This can be annoying when testing color schemes.

This will be resolved once KTextEditor switches to using the Themes from the KSyntaxHighlighting framework. Details are tracked here:
