Description Clayton 2020-01-29 10:59:28 UTC
SUMMARY
When a panel is set to autohide, during login, if there are notifications such as the network management connection notification, the panel glitches, flashing between visible and hidden until the notification goes away or the panel is triggered manually.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a panel with a notifications area (and have notifications spawn from there)
2. Enable autohide on said panel
3. Log into the session

OBSERVED RESULT
Panel flashes rapidly until notification passes.

EXPECTED RESULT
Panel should remain hidden.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Solus 4.1
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0
Qt Version: 5.13.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Though I'm experiencing this on Solus 4.1, a quick boot into KDE Neon for testing exhibited similar behaviour.

I was able to reproduce this in the past, but cannot anymore on Plasma 6 Wayland. Looks like it got fixed at some point!
