There is an additional issue that also only occurs when floating, it appears to clip on masks when unhiding. Here is a video that shows both: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqnDPGfS9s4&feature=youtu.be As for the mask thing, there appears to be a lower "Mask" and when rising, the bottom edge of the dock is clipped on the way up, at least I think that's what the issue is. It's hard to see. But yes, this clip also shows the indicator problems.
EDIT: I was able to fix the indicator issue by reinstalling the indicator, the clipping mask issue still stands.
Open a new bug report for your clipping issue explaining what you mean. Your video link i can not access it, it is private. For videos bug report we usually use Dropbox and Google drive because YouTube creates bad marketing.
